i downloaded the GREY layout from imp.net, my mate said it needs slicing, what does that mean? and how do i edit it for my needs (txt,images)

can you do this "slicing" for me please......

Using templates like that isnt actually a good way to make a site in my opinion.

Go into your website editor (could be Dreamweaver, Frontpage) and go to open. Then type in http://www.habbox.com/news.htm

You'll see how its made up of tables and all of that. Just mess around with it and see what happens :p

Slicing

Right, it's basically a term used for inserting stuff into different parts of the image. If you look at Impetuous.net you'll notice the news scrolls in the center, that part has been sliced and had some html coding put into it.

To "slice" you'll need to use a html editor/graphics program that supports integration with a html editor. Basically, you'll need Fireworks (http://www.macromedia.com) or something like frontpage.
