whats the difference between transparent alts and non-transparent alts :s

well a non-transparent alt has a white background, which shows up when the forum background is coloured, so people like to use transparent backgrounds which looks see-through

Transparent alts have a certain color thats see-through while non transparent alts don't.

For this forum, I dont really see the importance of making your alt transparent. :s

Yea an alt that isnt transparent will be pretty plain lookin like in a paper cut out sort of a way. When i make alts or atleast when i used to make em i always tried making them trasparent making them look more original and wont make them stand out as much as non trasparent ones :D
