how does reputation work?

Well Reputation Can be given By The Scale up in the right top corner, If you like Somone's post Then If you want , you may give them Rep, And if you don't like somones post you can give them Red Rep, The Little Green Squares at the top kinda tells you How much rep you have by having a little sentence :) , i hope this has helped, also If you get over 100 rep you get 2 little green squares :)

Also I should add, there is a new rule so you should only good/bad rep when you have a good reason. But yes you click their scale and give a reason. The higher up you are the more rep power you have. Newbies have rep power of none, staff have 3 I think, Admins have 10, members have 1 etc.
