I have been a "full fledged" News Reporter for Habbox for a while now, I became a trialist reporter on the 3rd June 2006 and passed two weeks later.
Recently, Moderation applications opened, and I applied. My application was accepted :)
I became competitions staff recently, as I was approached by the competitions Manager and accepted his offer to join the team.

Also NO Habbox staff has priority over the forum members

In other words, We dont get a better chance of becoming other job's.... :)

Yes essentially, normal Forum Members have just as much chance of getting a job as any Habbox Staff. I was chosen through the normal methods: I either applied, or was approached as my behaviour on the Forum was impeccable. It's all about your capabilities and behaviour, not anything to do whether you are staff or not. :)

Also, the Competitions department normally head-hunt their staff themselves, instead of opening applications. In other words, they look for people who they think would work well.
