I thought the whole point of the adverts is that the person IS the computer.
These have had no thought.
And the original adverts aren't even about the OS, it is about the computer, as you can run OS X and Windows on a Mac, you can run Linux on PC and Mac, but not many home or office users are gonna be using linux.

well to your arguement that OS are based on the computer, that defeats the whole point of linux, as its for all computers and all users, hense why there are so many versions. OS aren't based on the computer there based on the archtectiure (sp) of the system of the computer, eg. 32 bit 64 bit etc etc. Servers on linux are cheap ermm because there is more, i ain't the best server guy but if you look around how many is there compared to windows, and apple

You have such a farce argument. Before you come out with such robust statements you need to take a trip to some of the biggest datacenters around.. Ask your mum / dad to give you a holiday to SAVVIS in the US. Then you'll realise Linux is alot bigger than you think. If you listen, you might be in danger of learning.

Why is there PC, Mac and then Linux? A PC and a Mac are hardware. Linux is software. If it was Windows, OSX and Linux, it would make more sense. I don't think they win.
