If I download this will it wipe my Windows XP Media Centre off my hard-drive or will it just update the layout of it ??

just update, but i dont advise it as there is alot of errors with removing it etc

Look I've used it before and it was fine, but a word of warning, removing it can cause problems and it has to overwrite bits of your registry so it can have problems and damage your PC. Only do it if you have back-ups and can restore your system easy or you don't care. 9/10 nothing will happen but it is possible and if you want to get rid of it, it isn't always happy to leave if you see what I'm implying.

I don't mean a system restore I mean all of your data, files and your OS on disk so you can manually restore everything.

As I said in the PM it doesn't, it just makes it look deifferent. You can change it back easily by going onto Display in control panel
