Are microsoft still supporting it?

Media center is the worst version of XP, terrible for gaming too.

Microsoft still support all the XP's? :x They will do till the end of this year then next year as far as im aware they wont.

They're supporting it for a fair few more years. They only stopped supporting 98+ME last year.

XP's are still getting sold aswell... so it will deffinatly a few more years before it stops getting supported.

I have media center 2002, its alright. Altho lots of things dont apply to it, cant make an installation disc like home and pro :P

Media Center is just fine for gaming, what's your problem?
And they will be supporting XP for a VERY long time seeing as it is still VERY popular..

Media Center is **** for gaming.
Its always running uneeded processes, its support for Graphics isn't very good and all games don't run as well on MCE than they would Pro.

microsoft support all windows from 2000, so im sure youll be okay for quite some time

When I moved from Pro to MCE its performace dropped quite a bit. Soon enough im going back over to Pro.

I've got media center and its fine for gaming :S My parents have media center aswell and its fine for gaming aswell.

If you read the other thread in Microsoft + Windows it has info that microsoft wont be supporting XP at the end of the year no matter customers demand. ;)

Absolute bull. I have Media Center and can run games such as: FSX, CS : S, and other games many of my friends without media center can't run.

I think its cool, works fine for me.
Tiiiiiiiny bit laggy on my Xbox 360. Im using the Vista version, so it should be quicker tomorrow with the Xbox update :D
