Microsoft announces higher than expected profits

Microsoft announced that Vista has made more profits that expected. Quite interesting really, since people seem to think Vista won't go anywhere :).

TBH, vista sucks! it has sooooo many errors, until they release patches/ updates i will not even consider purchasing it!

i "had" vista, i upgraded from xp, but i found there to be many bugs with vista so i decided to go back to normal windows xp professional

I am not sure why you would think that (unless you are a mac user, then I understand - Mac users dislike seeing microsoft making sucesses :P). All software releases will always have bugs and require patches especially something as big and complicated as vista. You need to remember than an OS controls every single thing on the PC both hardware and software so it has a lot to work with to work properly.

Thats probably because they want the market to move on to new technology faster. I can understand that. If vista wasn't around, ver yfew people would buy new fast, PCs as there isnt a need for it. With new games using Directx 10, and the high vista specs, people will definitely go buy a new pc just for it.

Torrents dont work for very long on vista atm. My friend has tried it, he had to down grade back to XP.

I didn't download it from Torrents, I just downloaded the 26Parts from Rapidshare, had it in 11 weeks.

ive just got 4 .ISO's a serial and a trial reset that resets to 14 days every reboot. I didnt get the files with lots of bits :S and rapidshare NEVER works for me
