Dont know if this has been done, But i thought it would be interesting. :)

My first go on linux would be Yellow dog for ps3, Which i got rid of because it broke and had no wireless internet. It was good for a while, not using windows and doing it differently, But the limitations of my non HD telly (have one now) made it very difficult.

My second was when i got so ****** offf with windows, I decided to find something else, And found sabayon, It was ok, But began to annoy me, because the resoloution wouldnt go higher than 1024X760 or wotever it is. So thats gone :)

Now im using a fedora 7 LiveCD (installing in the background) And from what i can see of it so far, its very good. Its clean, reasonably easy and you can get all the window wobble effects :) Which if you ar elike me and go "ooohhh shiny" to things, is great :D.

So ill shut up now, and let you do some stuff.

Used Ubuntu for a day, got rid of it. I don't have the need or the desire to use Linux, seeing as almost everything I do requires Windows.

Well friends, I have no Linux experience, but I want to start learning Linux. Where do I start? The only programming experience I ever had was three years ago making a Visual Basic calculator. What's the best Linux distro to learn first, and how would I start learning it?

I havn't really had much experience. I've got a Ubuntu 6 Live CD which i use occassionally but i don't know any commands or anything so i can't really do much with it.
