ok, so sam (thank you sam :P) got me online with VATSIM.

with the risk of sounding completely ******ed.. but.. in FSX, where is the multiplayer connect button?

Like in FS2002 it was Flights -> Multiplayer -> Connect.

where is this in FSX?

to connect to sqwakbox via fs? you gotta create a flight as usual like you are gunna fly offline, then once u started press ALT on your keyboard, click modules then either fsinn or sqwakbox

i know.. ive set it all up, im ready to go, its connected to vatsim.

Ok, I've got it working (Somehow :S)

But I can't hear anyone, and for some reason everyone is typing on this "Unicom" thing.

How do I get to hear them? :S

oh lol matt, unicom is where theres no atc online at the place and they write what there doing on unicom which is 122.80 so other pilots know what there doing say I was coming on final approach into Gatwick for example I would say "EGKK traffic, cleared to land rwy 24" and then you would know not to line up until I had landed. There not actually talking to atc here.

i got it working i think.

do you type .com1 xxx.xx and then it'll tune in the frequency that you typed in?

so if i tuned into say, stanstead tower, if there was atc online there i could speak to them?

you change the freq using the radio stack press alt then views then instrument panel then raido stack and then change it.

yeah ino but i type in .com1 xxx.xx and it automatically tunes it in the radio stack for me.
