Today, I decided to do a short hop with fspax, Sydney - Canberra Virgin blue 737-700 all going well until I put my gear down and it didn't lock, so I had to do an emergency landing. The fspax box isn't there because I ended then did instant replay :]

MAYDAY MAYDAY, GEAR ISN'T LOCKING INTO POSITION!

and then fspax hostess goes "Ladies and gentlemen, there is a serious problem aboard, we will be coming in for an emergency landing"

Didn't get final approach but fspax fit hostess went "BRACE BRACE for emergency landing"

Touchdown!! -350foot per min is quite smooth.

Me and the first officer are opening the doors and selecting 40 flaps to make it easier to slide off the wing.

Well, thanks for viewing this was totally unexpected, just on approach, first officer goes "we have a serious problem onboard, gear won't lock"

Would like to hear your views and questions and any experiences you've had, I know adam has had one as a passengers in real life.

Nice. The only mayday I've had with fspax is when the cabin didn't pressurize! :(

By the look of that picture you landed in freshly laid wet asphalt with a nose gear that didn't lock.
