Well from first impression they look alright with their new pastel style colors but it just makes the nano wider than it orignailly was just to allow video functions
the ipod touch though looks pretty nice to bad its only avaiable in the 8gb or 16gb model its like downgrading from my 5.5 80gb ipod just for the new wifi features hmm

Maybe because Microsoft are clever enough to stay with one design so not to annoy people who have wasted money on a 5th Gen iPod :rolleyes:

Hasn't ticked me off in the slightest, I'm not one of these who has to have the latest design at all. I'm quite happy with my 5th gen Ipod. :)

Apart from the fact they both have screens and are rectangular, they are not the same at all.

My iPod's broke because even when I add album artwork it doesn't show up!
And Mammoth by Interpol is the only track that is somehow corrupted when transferred to my iPod :S

The Creative Zen is better than the touch in my opinion anyway, looking at the Creative Website you can:

-Add photos to your zen without the need of a computer:

-Has a built-in TV out.
-Is an actually MP3 player, the iPod Touch is really a handheld computer, but Apple don't want to advertise it like that for some strange reason.
-You can buy batteries for it so if you run low and ahve played it for 13 hours* you can buy another battery and have 26 hours* of music. Why is it a good feature? Because you can charge the other battery while using another so that you can listen to music over and over again.
-Not to mention it has a bigger memory. 16GB Touch vs 30GB Zen Vision: W.

The Touch is selling on looks, the Zen is selling on what it can do.

The Touch is cool, but I would rather have an MP3 player really "/

new ipod has wifi, safari, itunes store and some other new features to come, i was suprised about the safari aswell, i mean no bluetooth means no keyboard so what use has it got? i mean ye you can use to touch one for a keyboard but it will be a pain i think...

I dont like the designs personally, but its good for the update in technology. I dont like the new iPod Nanos. Im happy with my iPod Nano Product Red I have atm. The new ones look a bit....odd. The only one I would actually buy is the iPod Touch. They look snazzy.

I REALY want an ipod touch and think i might have to buy 1. If you watch the video about it on apple site its the amercian version and says it will connect to wi-fi in starbucks cafes so i contacted apple about what it will connect to in the UK and they said it connects to any wireless network :). Im not sure weather to get the 8gb or 16gb yet though because 16 might be too much as i only have 2gb of music :P

but it also plays videos, so you can download videos, convert them to the ipod format (.m4v i think) then sync them to your ipod.

Actually the new nano is really nice. The render of it doesnt do it justice, Watch the keynote or have a look at in the 360 view.

Lol first off they are not that much alike.

The touch has no buttons like the zen.

and second off the iPod touch is a complete copy of the iPhone.

First off it does have a bulit in tv out. It is an MP3 player with more abilities. You are saying that is a bad thing?

You can buy batteries for a battery pack for the iPhone.

The touch is flash memory that is why it is only 16gb

in a year it will be 32 gb and in 2 years it will be 64 or 128 gb

it needs flash memory to keep up with the fast paces touch interface.

with a hd it would have lag time when you select a song ect.

Some big cities are becoming all wifi.

so you would have free internet everywhere you go.

also hotel rooms have wifi, most offices have wifi.

coffee shops have wifi.

They are a little ahead of the world with this wifi thing I agree but in a few years there will be no problem finding wifi.
