Ok, so my dad has been searching for a better os as windows keeps crashing and cant find drivers for the cheap older hardware we find
it looks well and all but
1. is it legal at all?
2.Costs 1-3 Dollars *mainly Shipping and handling*
3.Good Reviews except for
800x600 80htz maxium
harder to partion for non linux users *i've only used ms my whole life*
Has anyone bought & / or used it?
dont ask for link just google and give me your opnions
QUESTION:
is it possible to install it on a blank hard drive from dos or such?

So have you tried restoring or? ,
Stick the disk in when it starts up, hopefully it'll reconise it as a bootdisk
If not, go into bios and select it to boot from CD first.
might be wise just to check your current os and hardware beforing switching to Linux (not tht i don't like linux... linux ftw)

just get Ubuntu Linux or Kubuntu, absolutely free to download, or you can request the disks for Free! even though they take a few weeks to come, and my Kubuntu and Ubuntu disks came with some very cool free Ubuntu Stickers :D
Boot screen looks better than Windows lol
