its Ubuntu ;) Not Ubanta
Definitely Ubuntu. When I get my laptop, I'm considering having dual boot with Linux, if I can get it to work!

I couldn't be bothered going through all the dual-boot process, looked to hard.
So I used Wubi.

For putting it onto a CD (must be done this way, won't work if you just put the .iso file on a
CD)
https://shipit.ubuntu.com/login
To order ubuntu CDs (take a long time to come)
Hope this helps. :)

Ok,
download the ISO XUbuntu (the one I Use)
download a program called InfraRecorder.
Now, using infrarecorder burn the Xubuntu ISO (which should have a .rar icon onto the disc)
Now, take out the disc, put it back in and run start up.
> Note: if the Xubuntu start page does not come up and it logs back into vista you will have to
> Edit Loading up in BIOS, Change 1 to CD ROm Change 2 to Hard Disc
> Save & exit which should auto-reboot
Now follow the installation you now have XUbuntu
edit:
Be sure to copy down your network IP adresses in your network settings.
COPY everything. down. EVERYTHING. :)

You might be better off just ordering a preburnt disc for free. Takes 3-4 weeks to come though.
