GNOME, I use it on my test VPS in Dallas aswell. Easy to connect to with VNC on it.

GNOME, Never used KDE, from the screenshots I have seen though it does look bulky.

KDE its much better then GNOME. Trust me

KDE used to be the main one of choice about 6 years ago when i first used linux.

And i like it, but now GNOME seems to be the main one.

I used to prefer KDE, but have grown to like GNOME :)
