Right, ive just installed openSUSE KDE 10.3 on an old machine i have, it installed fine on the thired disc, the others had problems because of the MD5 integrity keys or something. Anyway it worked perfectly, well the installation, it said it had installed and i should enjoy it! and so on.. well i restart for the system to load up, i get to choose between openSUSE 10.3 or openSUSE 10.3 (failsafe), obviously i just choose the normal one, it then goes on to load the green screen with the progress bar in the corner. After that, i get a black screen with a white dash in the top right corner, it just doesnt load, the dash isnt flashing or anything, but the strange thing is, when i go to turn it off with the power button it takes a while then it goes through so some sort of code and the green screen appears again which then loads the bar again. THen it shuts down. It just wont boot into the main desktop. Ive also tried the failsafe option. Can anyone help?
