Which linux?

I recently bought a 4gb pen drive and I wan't to install linux onto it for no apparent reason. So which one? It cannot take up anymore space then 3gb so I can get updates etc

Pen Drive Linux.

In the end I went with a modified version of ubuntu.

(boots like live cd but commits changes to the pen drive on a seperate partion)
