& i can get most of the fones on here (http://shop.o2.co.uk/mobile_phones/Pay_Monthly) which the majority r free on my contract.

also does anyone have o2 broadband? cuz my current broadband was free with my orange contract, but when i change contracts i need new broadband, and its only 7.50 for up to 8meg & unlimited usage.

If you're already getting a contract with O2, why not go for an iPhone? ... If it's because it costs £269 before the contract and has a poo camera then ok thats a fair decision.

I have the N95 and well... the hardware is brilliant.. the camera and the GPS are great features but the software doesn't back it up. Takes too long for the camera to focus, the whole interface is unintuitive and ugly. But otherwise, I've been generally happy. Once the camera is focused the pictures are amazingly clear and the email and other normal stuff works fine. If you can though, try to get the 8gb N95 as it's not just the built in storage that has changed. There's an upgrade in RAM, which makes everything much quicker (including camera focusing) and it also doesn't randomly crash apps as much. So if you want an N95, and out of those choices it's the one I'd choose, try and get the 8gb one.

The viewty has a VERY unresponsive screen.. makes it almost unusable. So I'd leave that for the time being.

Never spent any time with the sony erricson or any blackberrys, sorry.

thanks.
if i didnt just get the ipod touch, then i would probably, but too expensive and not really worth it imo. made my decision even harder now. the viewty is rubbish in other words then, cant get the 8gb n95 cuz its too expensive and i want a free fone. from wot ur saying about the normal n95, i might consider that, but i do like the p1i.

i wont considering the blackberry as i gotta buy the blackberry internet which is either £10 a month or £1/mb which i dont fancy paying more for something i can get free with other fones.

out of them id go for the N95, that SE looks quite ugly really, some people in school have the N95 and its quite good, I like the fact it slides both ways :P down to get media controls and up to get to the normal keypad.

Out of those options I'd suggest the Sony Ericsson P1i, even though the camera is somewhat lacking when compared with the Nokia N95. If you did want a 5MP camera though, the Sony Ericsson K850i might be a viable option. ;)

Sorry, biased here.

thanks both of u. i got until friday to decide, cuz thats when my mums calling up to cancel my current, then im buying online off o2 website. im not too bothered about the camera, and my current fone is the k800i so i want a fone which is better in most areas (excluding camera as im not chuffed - aslong as its more than 3mp). but at this present time, im thinking of opting for the p1i.

If you're after something a significant step up from what you have right now, the P1i or KU990 Viewty are probably the most ideal (the latter having a 5MP camera).

Over the next 5 days you should try and get a hands on with the phones if possible... it's much easier to decide when you've "been there, done that". :)

the N82 is wifi enabled, I use it all the time and works fine with my WPA-PSK security key. It's also got an accelerometer, where you turn the screen sideways and the display rotates, and if you take a picture in landscape or portrate, the accelerometer detects it and displays it correctly.

It's also got 3 months free GPS and a brilliant 5mp camera.
