Nokia 6288

Getting my contract upgrade 2morrow.

Nokia 6288, has a nice 6mb inbuilt memory :D

It seems abit big tho, does anything think its a good phone?

that phone like 2 years old I think, my step-dad had it and since then he has been upgraded twice. 6mb is quite bad too, that like maybe 2 songs at a squash and bad quality.

Im not really botherd about having up to date phones, this one has everything i need so thats fine :D

I hate slider phones though, they just got bigger when you slide them and then some fool comes along and goes *push slide down* and cancells what your doing -.-

if you went on the threestore online they have good sony ericssons there. As for the router, belkin are ok, my mates goes up 3 floors fine but he is directly above it. It also depends on the house, is yours fairly new?

The N95 has 150mb of built in phone memory, or 8GB if you get the 8GB Edition.

if you are renewing your contract demand a good phone thats just out :) or something like the N95 if you like chunky phones or maybe a lg viewty for the touch pad screen? if they wont give you a good up to date phone then cancel your contract and go with somebody who will give you something decent. no offence but the phone you are getting isnt great and the only way i would have it is if my contract was £5 a month with 1000 anytime minutes and 500 texts on top but then i would just put the sim in a better phone and sell that one as brand new.

Im not sure how good they are i have an o2 :) it's a touch screen, has no number buttons :)

But surely you want one of the best free phone? check the sim free prices for each phone and then pick one of the more higher value ones for yourself :) i agree features are what you buy for but i know if I could have a phone worth say £75 (cheapest brand new 6288 on amazon or a brand new nokia n95 £255 cheapest one on amazon. i would go for the n95 which has all the features you want plus many more and most networks would give you the n95 as a free upgrade.

I have a ericsson w910i which when i got it was probably the best ericcsson but its let down by the 2mp camera. the n95 has a 5mp camera and also can be used as satnav etc.

Never use camera, dont drive so i would hardly use satnav.

all i use it for is texting-phone calls-music.

Which i can just get a 8gb memory card and id be fine :D

Plus it was the only phone they offer me.

I would switch to a different network if they won't provide up to date phones to be honest.

Well its actually my mums contract, she kept old phone i got upgrade.

I dont think shes gunna change network provider.

But like i said, ive got the phone now and im happy with it :D
