This tutorial has been constructed by HxHD for Habbox use only
Here is my guide to the slang and vocabulary in the hotel!
Pwn - 'Own' Used like 'We pwn you' Translation: 'We own you'
N00B or noob or newb or newbie - A new user to the hotel, Can be used as an insult
Furni - The Items that people have in the room, See catalouge to buy
Trade - To swap furni with eachother click the trade button on the person you want to trade with
Mod - A person who helps moderate the hotel and does get payed.
Hotel Staff - These people work for the hotel and get paid.
Badge - The user's badge which is visible by clicking on that user.
Hotel Manager - The staffmember who is responsible for public relations with players in the hotel.
Kick - to remove of the user.
"Put on shutup" - To mute the user, as so they cannot see what that user is saying.
Flood - to spam the chat in the room as to disrupt the conversation.
Abbreviations
F/r - Friends Request
F/l - Friends List
TTYL - Talk to you later
GTG - Got to go
BRB - Be right back
AFK - Away From Keyboard
Bk - Back
WB - Welcome back (Often used when someone is back from AFK)
LOL - Laugh out loud
LMAO - Laughing my Bottom Off
ROFL - Rolling on floor laughing (Can be combined with LMAO to make ROFLMAO)
GG - Good Game
Wuu2 - What you up to
P2S - Pay to stay
kl - Cool
GL - Good luck
FTW - For the world
gr8 - Great
gratz/congrats - congratulations
hxr or hax0r - Hacker
idk - I don't know
h8u - Hate you
ily - I love you
irl - In real life
jw - Just wondering
lirl - Laughing in real life
m8 - Mate
