A Prisoner of Birth - Jeffery Archer ( I highly recommend this (Y)
Danny Cartwright is an uneducated garage mechanic who is falsely accused of murder but found guilty and sentenced to twenty-two years in the highest security prison in the land. He has no thought of fortune or redemption, just revenge – revenge against the four prominent men who were involved in the killing of his best friend, and who were the prosecution’s prime witnesses at his trial. He figures he has twenty-two years to plan his perfect revenge. By a twist of fate, however, fortune becomes a part of Danny’s life when he is released as someone he befriended in prison, the heir to a vast estate. He now has the means to act on his revenge. But what of redemption?

Anything written by Jasper Fforde, if you know classic books as well, or you won't get the jokes. Some of it is alternate universe fantasy, where she can jump into books, the other series is about nursery rhyme characters living in the real world, and is a murder mystery/police book.

Misery by Stephen King
is a FANTASTIC novel. Very memorable. The Movie was also great.
Gods Behaving Badly by Marie Phillips
Wonderful writing, very quirky. The ending was a bit cheesey, but totally worth the read.
Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
One of the best dark humour novels I've ever read.
The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents by Terry Pratchett
Another Terry Pratchett, real original read.
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
I have only read the first half where the Brave New World is described, but I found it exetremely interesting and I'm excited to finish it. Aldous Huxley's wife was also really good friens with Winona Ryders parents? Lol.
The Redwall Series was also a good read when I was a kid. Tale of Martin was my favourite.
