Default Footballers Getting Paid So Much

Ok i have been thinking about this for a while now but

why do footballers get paid more than nurses/doctors
all they are doing is kicking a ball around when nurses/doctors are curing people and saving lives, so why do footballers get paid so much?

when a footballer gets injured - who treats him/her - a doctor or nurse
whos ready incase they get injured - docrors/nurses

    what are your views?

I often think about this, At the end of the day, they enjoy playing football (Well, i'd say they do) My mum is a nurse, and she doesn't exactly enjoy it?

So yes, I think people saving peoples lifes should be payed more.

footballers are obviously overpaid but that's life. Football is a multi-million pound business.

It's not the footballers fault about their salary, its the managers/owners of the club who pay them...

so dont flame the footballers ^^

Because it's how buisness works:s Proffesional Football is extremely profitable, thus the people in the business get paid very high. It isnt like someone came in one day and said "Lets pay football players millions of dollars and doctors like crap". Its all the demand of business.

I go to Medical School. The pain we go through is substantial. We need to get more. It's dispiccable that people like footballers and popstars etc get paid 10x as much!

It's just how it is. It may well seem unfair but the entire economy relies on stability, and changing things around to make things "fair" would upset the balance.

Doctors and nurses are highly skilled, and don't be offended if your parents are in such a profession or if you aspire to be, but it is something that you can learn. Obviously there will be people who are naturally good at it, as with anything else, but sports isn't something that just anyone can learn. Entertainers are key to a happy society, and yes they are grossly overpaid, but I'd rather keep it as it is than upset economic balance.

Also remember that football is a big business, many groups of multi-million (or even billion) pound corporations come into it. The players are like the stocks and shares of it, or the big dealbreaks.

...no it's not. Its how business works. If you want to be paid more, go into a different business. If you want to be paid as much as a football player, be a football player.
