The Pacific

Seen it advertised, look's as though it will be really good.

It' a 10 part mini-series, produced by Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman. It also has the creators from the 'Band of Brothers' on it as well.

'The Pacific is based primarily on two memoirs of U.S. Marines: With the Old Breed by Eugene Sledge and Helmet for My Pillow by Robert Leckie.

The series will tell the stories of the two authors and Marine John Basilone, as the war against the Empire of Japan rages.'

Gunna be played on sky movies during spring this year.

Band of Brothers?! Interested! Oh yeah... Spielberg and Hanks as well of course Band of Brothers was so awesome, I remember watching it when it was first on TV years ago. I don't have Sky Movies though so gutted for me
