After months of speculation, Habbo.com is following in the footsteps of other hotels and implementing the dice/furni randomizor limit.

IMHO: I know many people will hate this, but I think it is long over due.

Starting today, we’re adding a limit to the number of chance elements that can function in a room (e.g. Dicemasters, Wheel of Fortune, Fortune Tellers). Placing more than 3 chance elements will disable all randomizer functions in the room. You can continue using them as decorative elements as usual. For those who feel you now have more of these items than required, please check out our recycler, which will be running a custom refund program for these items during the next four weeks.

The reason for doing this is the feedback we have received from our users. Rooms with a great number of chance elements in them are often linked to hacking, fraud and/or cheating, and are therefore harmful to the Habbo experience. We do not assume that Habbos making and playing in these rooms have intentionally caused harm to the community, but these negative effects simply come with the territory.

Luck games are also against the habbo way.

people in casinos are going hamburger right now, saying everyone will quit, habbo is ruined... you name it, they're saying it. so ridiculous, habbo is not ruined because a group of about 100 people aren't able to gamble anymore lmao... get real.

Nah it's really stupid they're doing this, people should be allowed to do what they like within the Hotel in regards to the gambling aspect, some users are over the required age to gamble and it's just going to push people away and make people leave.
