What's the biggest lie you've told?

Thread title is pretty self explanatory what is the biggest or worst lie that you've ever told? Why did you tell it? Did you get away with it? Did you get exposed as a liar?

lying is for cowards, I've told the truth the majority of my life, if i was to lie it would be in a sarcastic tone, your problem if you don't pick up on it. (y)

jokes. erm i dunno tbh, i used to lie alot when i was little so i cant remember but i havnt told a lie in agesss.

In year 6 me and this other lad through our milk cartons out the bus window in the way home and when we got in trouble I told my parents I didn't do it. I know this isn't very big, but I consider this as the biggest lie I've told because it was kind of the turning point in that from then on I sort of stopped lying (to my parents at least). And I was really surprised at their reaction because they weren't mad or anything when they found out lol, so it all kind of just stuck with me .
