tbh im probs saying this because i'm not from the UK but I do plan on buying alot of VIP and I will be quite offended if all my money goes towards war and such, I know help for heroes is supporting the wounded but I'd rather put a smile on a kids face when they get a big present

    That's a bit hypocritical.

You don't want money to go toe the British, yet you are happy for it to go to a little African boy?

    Wait, what?

    What the hell.

Who would rather give money to Animals than the Military services. Bizarre people.

Not really, he's from New Zealand. It's obvious that Africa is worse off in every way than the UK, so what he's saying is making sense. I'm not saying every kid in Britain is well off, but they're not starving or dying of diseases in enormous numbers that's for sure.

No but what he said was "I am not wanting to give my money to the British as I am not from there." But he then says "I will happily give it to Africa."

And saying African kids are worse off in everyway is ridiculous. I have been on trips to Africa to decorate a school and on the whole the kids were so much more together. Virtually everyone would play with each other - how often does that happen in England?

Communities in Africa are much better.

Socially yes, but economically not so much. We are talking about what people NEED for life, not what they can live without. You won't die if another kid won't play with you. However, you will if you do not get enough food, water, or Malaria tablets etc. This is the crucial point.

To say that the UK is worse of than Africa is stupid. The UK is an MEDC (more economically developed country) not an LEDC. I personally have trecked across Africa and I can say many children have close to no infrastructure often studying in poorly constructed mud huts, now I don't think that is better off than the UK at all. However, it is your choice to pick to who you want to donate as for me, it will be a tough choice as they're all good causes.

Wait? Could you QUOTE me when I said it was worse off? Can you? No.

Also if you have trekked the continent you would know Africa is a continent of two halves.

And Africa is not a Less Economically Developed Country

A large bulk of it yes, the Sub-Saharan Africa part. The only thing I would say and yes I cannot quote you as you didn't directly say it. However, it is the fact that they are worse of economically, which I feel is worse than being worse off in the social sphere of things, though I don't reject your point that they're not worse off in every way.

But yet again as I said the economics are 100 times worse in Africa than in the UK. Socially it is better.
