Account Merging & Duplicate Account Amnesty

As you will all know, one of our rules here at HabboxForum states that members must only have one forum account, if you didn't know this - you do now!

Account merging has never been permitted at HabboxForum however following a discussion last night we have decided to allow it under limited circumstances.

For now there are two circumstances in which you can have your accounts merged, however this is only available for 28 days - both have guidelines proposed by the Habbox Owners and General Management. The two circumstances at the moment cover A) Second Accounts which haven't been uncovered and B) Second Accounts which have been banned for being duplicate accounts (for 28 days).

Those of you who have a second account which has not been revealed as your second account to moderation staff

You have 28 days to make us aware of these accounts and ask for them to be merged, however the guidelines you must meet are:

- For your second account to have never been banned/cautioned/temporarily banned
- For your second account not to have any active infractions upon it.

To go about getting your uncovered second account merged with your main account you must post a ticket at www.habboxforum.com/support stating the names of both accounts and prove ownership of them, by providing either the ACCOUNT EMAIL ADDRESS, the ACCOUNT DATE OF BIRTH, the AMOUNT OF REP POINTS ON THE ACCOUNT - Management will still check this via IP links too.

Alternatively if you do not want your second account merged with your main one you may request it to be banned the same way (this can be done at any time)


If you have an account which has been banned for being a duplicate account.

If you have an account which has been banned in the past for being a duplicate account (and only being a duplicate account) then you have 28 days to request a merge - after the 28 days the bans will remain on the accounts and merges for accounts already banned for duplicate accounts will not be performed.

Before being banned for a duplicate account your second account must not have:

- Been temporarily banned/cautioned
- Any active infractions

If you would like your duplicate account unbanned (if it was only banned for being a duplicate account) then you have 28 days to post on www.habboxforum.com/support and prove ownership of both accounts via means of email address, date of birth or reputation points on each accounts. Management will check via IP search too.

All merges will be performed at the discretion of HabboxForum.com Management and if HabboxForum.com management are not satisfied you meet the above stated criteria your account will not be merged.

The merge period will only last for 28 days - HabboxForum will not merge accounts after 5th August 2010.
