Sack glitch?

Right this seems really fishy so for the moment I'm not trading anything and I need your advice/help
I was in some random person's credit shop and this guy randomly starts giving away free sacks
He gives me one and he doesn't decline or anything and it goes through like a normal trade and it didn't appear in my inventory so I reloaded and it still hasn't appeared in my inventory?
Is this a scam/hack type thing or what? I'm quite worried haha, any advice/help?
