Gears of War 2

I cant wait for Gears of War 2, and I was just wondering who was aswell so I thought I would post a Gears thread, to counterbalance all the Fifa 09 and Cod 5 threads.

Changes from Gears One to Gears Two.
Meatshields. Meatshields are where you pick up a downed opponnent and use him as a living sheild. You can only use pistols with the meatshield though.

Meatflag. Like Capture the Flag except the flag is alive. You must turn the stranded into a meatshield and carry him back to your own base.

Seriously 2.0 Like the old seriously acheivement except now instead of 10,000 kills its been put up to 100,000 kills. Luckily enough its not only online now. You can get these kills through campaign and horde mode.

Horde. If you've ever played runescape and played the fight caves its sort of like that. Wave after wave of monstesr coming at you, but this time you can have a team of 5 players. You also get acheivements for reaching certain waves, it goes up to 50.

Duel Battles. If you've ever played Gears of War and you both go into a chainsaw battle with your chainsaw bayonet, theres that odd feeling when you dont know who's going to win. Now in Gears 2, if you tap a certain button the fastest you win.

Firehose Feature. In Gears of War there is a certain trick, where one can bounce of walls and be hit at the same time, but continue at the same speed. In Gears 2, they have the firehose feature. As you run at the opponenet but get sprayed with bullets you slow down.

Crawling. In Gears of War, when you are downed you are vulnerable to all types of attack. But in Gears 2, you can crawl away or back behind a wall for safety.

Finishers. Gears of War, had the curb stomp. It was lovely to use on your opponent but after a while, it got a little boring. Now in Gears 2, theres 11 different ways of finishing somebody off, including the old fashioned curb stomp.

Im getting it on the day, and cant wait to try out the horde. Anyone thinking about making a team? Tell me what you think.

pre-ordered collectors edition and cant waitt!

4 player co-op campaign to!

I'm going to pre order it tomorrow so I can get a golden lancer for online play, also going to pre order Call of Duty: WaW from GAME online so that I can get that carbine guy for a whole day and own with it and level up pretty quickly.

Also picking up Fable 2 on friday, a lot of my money wasting.
