My desktop is tiny. I have an Asus Eee PC with a 7" screen.

You didn't get one of those did you? They've got 4GB internal memory and card slot but they cost a hell for what they are although they say it's cheap. battery runs rubbish too as the gadget show found. and what can you even do on it apart from internet and skype etc?

Urm, they are not rubbish, they are extremely good for what you pay for. You can put an SSD card in to upgrade the storage, upgrade the ram, use a USB drive to install XP and you have a very nice, very cheap laptop?

You can easily unlock the full Linux desktop so you can do everything you could do on a normal Linux laptop.

And in my experiance the gadget show talks a load of bull.

the eee pc is well cool, however i cant see a reason to buy one for myself, but im sure its handy for a lot of other people. maybe when im in college and i need to get stuff done quick
