You've got to remember they didn't have key players such as Ricky Ponting , if he was there it would have probably have been a different story.

I agree it was a big feat, but I just don't think we win in the real times of pressure. I mean we got beat in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy back in 2003 or 2004 :s, off the West Indies and it was over here .

    Blimey, you're optimistic.

On the back of an ODI series win over Aus - I think we have a fighting chance.

I gather you're being sarcastic there my friend . If you look at posts about Carlisle you'll find I am like the most pesimistic supporter of all time .

We may have a chance, but Australia will have Ponting back for the World Cup and he's their main batting figure and Captain. As long as he's there, Australia will more often than not, win hands down.

    What happened in 2003?

Didn't even make it past the pool's.

What happened before 2003 - exactly.

Thing being we have morale support behind us - and we're not in Aus which is good and on the back of a good win.

P.S - it's good to have someone to discuss cricket with

Didn't we get to the Super Sixes last time :s. I can't remember, anyway, we had an awful team back then and I admit we have improved. I think we can get to the Super Eights, but that's where it'll end.

Correct about the morale support and not being in Australia. There's bound to be a great atmosphere in the Carribbean as there always is there. Some of my coaches from DHCC are going the lucky men.

And thank you, the same to you .
