If you are going to play that card then, maybe you should also admit as should the Labour Party and Gordon himself that it was a global boom during the period Labour were in office. I myself dont blame them for the international crisis - boom and bust is a fundemental part of capitalism and is good in the long term for every economy. I do however not stand by the idea that Labour were not in it and were innocent, it was Labour who removed regulation powers from the Bank of England and handed it to the pencil pushers at the FSA.

I will also not accept that praise by Obama is a good thing at all - yes Obama, the man who pledged to get US national debt down yet its now spinning more so out of control than it was doing so before. A government cannot sustain growth as the left likes to think, anything funded by the government is false growth and does not create wealth. The private sector is still shrinking and the public sector growing, we are still in reality, in recession.

I thought Saint Gordon abolished bust anyway? (his own words not mine)

Oh my God. You moaned for ages "NOT ENOUGH CUTS. NOT ENOUGH CUTS. CUT MORE COSTS. CUT MORE COSTS. UKIP WOULD HAVE DONE IT". Now you are saying they made a bad decision? Every little helps and this 5bn will help. You are just crying that UKIP aren't in power.

First you ask for more cuts, and then cry at the cuts. People like you only look at the negatives and only know how to moan.

Where have I moaned about the government cutting our waste?

I support all cuts, we spend far too much. However I am annoyed that other budgets such as the EU budget and foreign aid are increasing when our more important budgets (military/education and so on) are being slashed. It is called prioritising cuts and managing a budget properly. I know you being a Labour supporter would not understand this but i'll add it in also - these cuts are only cutting the deficit and not the overall debt which is expected to continue to grow over the next parliament - but dont worry, just continue voting in Labour because you are only making it worse for yourself as you and your children will be the ones who suffer.

I want UKIP in power yes obviously, but UKIP has nothing to do with this thread so lets not go there (again).

Yeah ok, lets just not spend anything for a few years and it will be all fine.
There is 25% spending cuts in all government depts, what more do you want? Its a start, one which is better than nothing. Seriously, do you ever stop moaning?

Because we are still spending out of our means, so I have not moaned about the government cutting back as you like to think because I have been arguing for big government cuts long before the debt hit the mainstream agenda. The fact is, you cannot spend your way out of debt and we are still pushing ourselves deeper and deeper into debt. The cuts are welcome, but they do not go far enough and do not hit non-important services such as foreign aid which should be cut back.

Now do you agree with me that non-important services should get the axe before important services such as the education sector?

I don't think you understand the state of our schools to be quite honest.
