New HxHD Rules

Due to the discussion in recent feedback threads, HxHD management have made a mutual decision to to change some of our rules. HxHD acknowledges that we have taken rule enforcement to the point where we're disrupting the conversation in the room, and so the following rule changes are intended to accommodate for everyone.

These rules have been constructed by Roxy and HotelUser based on the recent HxHD feedback.


Old Rules:
1) Don't bully or abuse other users
2) Don't be racist
3) Don't flood, spam or advertise other fansites
4) Don't impersonate staff
5) Abide by the Habbo and Fansite way

New Rules:
1) Don't flood or spam other fansites
2) Follow the Habbo and Fansite way
3) Don't impersonate staff

I've explained the rules to show what would be acceptable and what wouldn't be:

Follow the Habbo and Fansite way
This is self explanatory and covers being rude, abusing people and racism. Friendly banter with friends is allowed e.g. "garion you're a loser " however something such as "YOU'RE A ******* **** I HOPE YOU GO DIE" wouldn't be whether it was meant in a jokey way or not.

Don't impersonate staff
Things such as "lol roxy916 you are so rude ;l" or "tbh he should've got a warning for that" or "be careful they might warn you" is fine but actually pretending your staff and threating to ban people etc. isn't.

Don't flood or spam other fansites
You will only be kicked for flooding if what you're saying is taking up the entire screen, and you're flooding outside of the conversation youre in, or you're spam advertising another fansite. If you are simply mentioning another fansite or talking about it e.g. "omg have you heard the DJ on HFFM? :L" or "i'm djing on clubhabbo atm" then that's fine however if you shout "HFFM IS AMAZING TUNE IN NOW I LOVE IT THIS DJ IS AMAZING WIN 600 CREDITS" then that would count as advertising and you'll be kicked. Flooding one letter / symbol / word / random letters or words over and over will also be classed as flooding.


Being kicked
You will be kicked for flooding, being banned, being on a clone, pretending to be someone else or saying something completely unacceptable.

Being banned
All bans will last for an hour. If, after the ban has ended, you come back and get banned for doing the exact same thing again the ban will be longer. If people are coming in with clone accounts advertising exposed sites or anything like that, they will be kicked upon sight. Bans will be extended if the banned user comes back into the desk and continues break rules or if they are constantly trying to enter the room. When a ban is extended the staff members will have to provide a screenshot as proof which you can pm HxHD management and request to see if you think it's unfair.


Other changes / updates

• You will not be in trouble for talking in capitals
• Clones will not be kicked unless the staff member is 100% sure and has proof
• Whenever someone has to be banned from the room, the staffmember who has banned the user MUST of taken atleast THREE full room screenshots which clearly show both what the user did wrong, and how the staffmember dealt with the situation. These screenshots will be posted along with the ban, the banned user may request to see these screenshots if they PM a member of HxHD management.
• All current bans will be lifted due to these rules and under the pretense that they may have been given out in an unjust manner (I have already done this yesterday - HU ).

If you see any staff misbehaving in the desk, ignoring users or giving out pointless and unfair warnings please screenie it and send it to HxHD Management.
