Who quoted you

Hey,
Would it not be better to change the system slightly, for example with "people have quoted you" pms they go in a different category. Maybe just have a notification that disappears once its clicked, I love the feature so I don't want to disable it but the pms are a nightmare .

Implementing a system like that would be nice and if I have a few free days in the Summer I'll do that but right now there's other things that need working on first.

In the meantime though, I'm not sure if you're aware, but you can disable PMs from who quoted you from this page, search for "Receive PMs when another user quotes you:".

I agree with this, maybe just a notification like the one which gives you a notice of a VM but says 'You have been quoted' - clicking it takes you to your userCP.

He said he doesn't want to disable it, the PMs are just annoying sometimes . I agree and it certainly has been filling my inbox quite quickly even though I have 2000 - I know I can just delete them though.

No, you wont. You can check your UserCP though, like you have to for reputation .

I think that would be pretty nice, and time saving.
I don't get as much quote's as you, I'm guessing, but I do find it irritating having to delete them.

Also I'm going to hijack, sorry. But this is close related;
Can it be put, that if you quote a post with an image, it doesn't parse in the quote tags automatically? much like it does in the 'Who's Quoted Me' ?
I find it clogs up the post
