there is such a thing as merching. weird that you don't understand how people can put their money in rares (which are pretty much consistent gain) when you yourself keep all your money in your bank! lol!

most my buyables are near maxed, not ~50

I've been playing RS for years off and on, so it's been a combination of merching while I play and holding rares while I don't (like now). Occasionally I come back and play for a month or two, but I'm not exactly a serious RS player anymore.

The reason I don't max other skills is simply because I don't have the time

Thing is from what Scott was saying u need a good amount of money to start merching anyway, and frankly money is always better put in skills tbh due to stuff like new grandmaster quests, and also high levelled money making methods that provide tons when they first arrive. But nice phats anyway ;o

when i played, i always sort of hesitated on spending money on skills directly. like i didnt really spend money on skills like range to level them, but rather just trained it via slayer. some people like saving a cash pile and others like to spend it on skills. in the end, whatever floats your boat is best

I prefer having money (i.e merching) to skills but thats probably because I don't play enough to get the 99s haha.

Most of my cash is tied up atm, haven't really had a lot of time to play lately so I've been holding these for a little while. I also haven't organized anything in about a year
