I am aware of the difference, I just couldn't care less regarding the thread title.
Of course it can, but for the most part it is Microsoft Accounts.
Again if it bothers you that much feel free to change it.
indonesia, belarus, canada, USA, china, romania, argentina, india, malaysia, mexico, korea, brunei, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA ugh go away foreign hackers
Clearly **** hackers.
Where do people even get my email anyway?
I would say they got your email address from websites you have signed up for. The websites you signed up for could have been completey legitimate but they could have shared your email address elsewhere, which could have led to hackers knowing your email address.
That is my guess anyway.
I always make sure my email account passwords are different to anything else because if a site gets compromised and they find your login details for that site they will try it with your email address and if successful could use that access to change all your login details to all the services linked that account and lock you out.I would say they got your email address from websites you have signed up for. I had 2 failed logins one from Belgium and one from Brazil both this morning
Either you guys are really not safe with sharing your email all over the place, or I'm failing to extend my list of logins - I've only got like 8/9 or so from this month and they're all by me from the UK.
