Well, tonight is the 2nd leg to the semi's of Villarreal vs Arsenal.

Phillipe Senderos is a doubt for the rest of the season but Wenger didn't hesitate, as big sol is fit to fill in his position. Arsenal lead by 1-0 and go to Spain confidently which is what we need, now thats left is to play the football. Geal clichy is set to be in the squad for the first time since November.

They weren't out to play properly, they were 1 goal up and they had the advantage either way. All Arsenal needed to do was to sit back and let Villarreal do the work, after all they need 2 goals to beat us and didn't seem to be a realy threat.

I don't care how many English players Arsenal have, if Arsenal had a team full of English players then they wouldn't be as good or as exciting as a team, its not Arsenals fault that most English players are either not good enough or too expensive.

Also true football fans would like to see an English team win regardless off the rivalry. I would definitely be supporting an English club like I was last year when Liverpool won it. ;D

I think Arsenal were a bit lucky, Forlan, Riquelme and Franco but will they be strong enough for either AC Milan or Barcelona. Eto'o and Ronaldinho or Schevchenko and Gilardino. Not easy for the defence.

Arsenal are an english club, however many english players they have. Its a good advert for the english league if arsenal can win the final. Two english clubs winning the cup twice in a row it will show that the english league is the best in europe if not the world :)

Arsenal have Barca in the final, which was slightly obvious to see but there was always a possiblilty of them not.
Anyway, with the final on May 17, i think Arsenal will have time to spare as they follow up on it. Although I think Barca would beat us without a doubt, I have a feeling that Arsenal will do em 1-0.

If you see Arsenals youths, we do actually have english players. We made a signing in january, Theo Walcott which I still am awaiting to see how well he plays football.

We have 2 first team English players that haven't been able to play due to injury, tbh I think that's enough english players in the first team.
Please tell me who Arsenal should replace for an Englishman that is good enough and isn't to expensive.

Also I don't get why people make such a fuss over it, if there is a problem with the "lack of first team English players" it's Arsenals problem not anyone elses.
