Jose Mourinho perhaps quitting?

While Blues supporters were still celebrating the emphatic 3-0 victory over nearest rivals Manchester United which saw us achieve back-to-back Championships, José Mourinho stunned the assembled media by revealing that he had thought about quitting earlier this season.

Citing the lack of recognition both he and the club receive, mainly due to the vast sums of money available to him, he revealed sensationally:

"During the season, I thought a couple of times of close the door and say goodbye at the end of the season. This is the worst club in the world to manage but I am very, very happy to stay because this club is a special club."

"I give you another example: Chelsea was fined because against West Bromwich the players surrounded the referee. But did you see the same thing when Fulham players pressed the referee to disallow the goal? Chelsea is treated always in a negative way."

"I am happy to stay because it is a pleasure to work with this club and with these people. This is the fourth time in a row that I have won the Championship and I should be the happiest manager in the world at this moment and I am not. But don’t interpret this is a doubt I want to stay."

Like... SHUT UP MOURINHO. He even said beating Manu was like a piece of cake :s

Chelsea 3 Man United 0

Chelsea have become the first London club to win back-to-back championships since the 1930s after a game that could not have gone any better had it been scripted. From William Gallas’ early opener, to Joe Cole’s magical second to Riccy Carvalho’s fantasy third, this was truly a blue day.

Henry scoops 3rd award

Arsenal striker and captain Thierry Henry was voted Footballer of the Year for the third time in four years by the Football Writers' Association (FWA) on Friday.

The Frenchman, top scorer in the Premier League this season with 23 goals and instrumental in helping Arsenal reach the Champions League final, was a clear winner ahead of runner-up John Terry of Chelsea and Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.

Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, the Professional Footballer's Association (PFA) Player of the Year, finished fourth ahead of Joe Cole and last year's winner Frank Lampard.

Henry also collected the award in 2003 and 2004, the first back-to-back winner, and the first overseas player to win the award twice.

You don't think Alex Fergoson or Arsen Wenger were arrogant when they were top of the league :l

Most managers get arrogant now, its part of the game. Its all about mind games, he's trying to put other teams down :l
