The Monté carlo gran prix is always an exciting gran prix, and todays was no different.

The action started yesterday, when Michael Schumacher was accused of blocking Ferando Alonso from taking pole position.
As a result he had to start from the pit lane.

The race itselfs was being paced at the quicker pace of qualifying times (around 1 min 15 - 16 seconds per lap), and the front four runners for the majority of the race (Alonso, raikkonen, webber + Montoya) all seemed like they could win the race.
Out of those 4, only Alonso and Montoya finished. :rolleyes_ The other two's engine caught fire.

Michael schumacher in the end had probably the most beneficial race, started "22" in the pits, and finished 5th.
David coulthard had the best race in my opinion, went with a 1 stop tactic, and finished 3rd, getting Red bull racing it's first ever podium position.

The official results (as off the F1 official site)

I thought it was pretty obv. that Alonso was gonna win it.Well, I don't know, Kimi was rather close in the beginning. ;)

I hope Alonso doesn't have a streak like Schumacher did, that just got boring. :eusa_wall

I think he needs a more reliable and faster car.

If he was to join Ferrari or Renault, I think he would be winning at least twice a season.

But alas, 7 years in the business, still winless, good record :rolleyes_

You would defiantly fancy Jenson out of those 2, although Heidfield did have a good run today, considering he's a sauber too ;)

why is Nobody talking about Fisichellas Banzi Passing moves.
And i feel So sorry for Webber, he would of got a Podium.

And Kimi doesn;t stand a chance This year.
It will be between Alonso and Schumi.

It will be between Alonso and Schumi.I have to admit, getting past as many people as Fissi did on that track was spectular!

I was wanting a big crash after the tunnel area :( They're usually good to watch :eusa_ange

Kimi doesn't stand a chance, no. But it would be nice if he put a little bit of heat into the championship.

I hope Schumacher doesn't win. He's had his flame. But I don't want it to be a runaway victory for Alonso either.
