Depends where I'd be going, but I guess since I use the bus the most, I'd say the bus.
We have trams where I live, so I'd pick that too, but it doesn't go the places that I want ;[

Depends really.

If it's a long journey, say 2 hours + then car. If I can walk there in half an hour or less I'll walk. If I'm going into London I take the train.

London: Tube, Train, River/Boat, Bus or Taxi.
Home: Walk/Bus/Bike.
Themeparks: Walk, or park transport. haha

If im going over 500 miles, it usually means i'll be using a plane of some sort.

Doesn't happen to everyone, about 50% of people.. Me included :(

You kind of get used to it though, my ears pop on some parts of the London Underground network.

The bus driver actually believes that im under 16 and i dont have to pay
There's a seat
It's not full of screaming school children

i LOVE taking the train but I have nowhere to go on it so i only take it about once or twice a year.

Well walking is ok in the little village where I live.
But lift into town by car/van (or bus in emergencies).
Tube is handy when in London.

Well it's not on there but I like to go by ped, they are great, I like feeling the wid etc. especially as it's hot here in Spain, but whem I'm older I want a proper motorbike :P

Driving my own car. The idea of being cramped with all kinds of people on the bus is just repulsive. I'm usually uncomfortable during plane rides unless I'm on a plane that has beds. (I tried it more than once. It was heaven comparing to just stting.) I can't exactly carry my daily essentials while walking or cycling. I don't ride trains or ships very often.

Edit: Lmao. So I just read the first post.. I didn't know it was for long distance. I guess riding planes. Not my favorite, but it's the easiest.

Why is walk a choice?

I voted for walk just because I thought that it is funny that anyone would like to walk a far distance to get somewhere. If they were concerned with the environment maybe bike or bus but walking????

Then if we are talking cross continental I dont see how someone would pick anything besides boat plane or maybe car.

As you said "Long distance" I'd have to say plane! Then again if i'd of been on a cruise and liked it, I might of said that, not sure though ;)!
