Im not sure if you have heard of this, but it is part of Yahoo! Sign up for an account on yahoo and go to:
Launch! (http://www.launch.yahoo.com)
Click "Customize my Radio", and you can choose the music you like and the bands you listen to. You get songs that are recomended for you based on the bands you listen to. More instructions will be on the site.
