Taken from TowersTimes:

"An exciting competition has been lauched by Alton Towers, with a first prize not to be missed - the chance to win Alton Towers itself for an exclusive day out with fifty guests.

Further prizes include a brand new Peugot 107 Urban or the chance to win free tickets to Alton Towers' legendary Fireworks Spectacular. Commercial Buying and Development Coach Rupert Hough said, “It’s a really exciting opportunity for our guests - exclusive to them by advertising on-site only via posters and the queue
boards,”.

Texts cost £1.50 and terms and conditions will be available on a competition website, a link to which will shortly be available here."

Sounds great!
Didn't Michael Jackson hire the park for the day or something?

Gaydar and the Islamic Group didn't have the park too themselves... did they? I thought they were just sponsored days, like what Thorpe Park sometimes has.

They have the park to themselves.

Also, the hotels will be open to nudists that are aloud to walk around naked in November.. Fantastic? :S

Is it really worth 300k just for one day though ;O?
I mean on a school weekday you still get on all the rides without much queuing
And queuing adds to the ride I think
I don't know why...

If I had lots of money, had the things I wanted and had a spare 300k then I would deffinataly concider it!

However, I would prefer to win this thing Tussauds are running so I don't pay a penny!

Well, I went in April on a Friday and it was litrally a 30 second wait for the next train to come into the station on Nemesis and Air - Thats how empty it was.

But with having the park to yourself you can enter the queues through the exit.. Go to areas of the park you'd never normally go, proberbly get to operate a ride (Providing nobody is riding :P)!

Mine loves it! - She likes theme parks.. Well rollercoasters, she's not too keen on flats though!

Well she likes Tussauds enough to spend £255 on 3 annual passes (Mine, Brothers and hers!)

Better than having to be in the car with your mum!

I have alot better time with my mates at Alton Towers, we can do what we want ^_^

Would I be right in assuming you have an Annual Pass?

Otherwise it's one hell of an expensive day at the fake seaside.
