Are these shoes a bit too much?

I recently bought a pair like these, I love them! But my friends think they're too showy and something that a **** would wear. I try not to care and I wear them all I want but do people really think this? I've had bad experiences with girls about clothing and I even ended up being beaten up because of the clothes I wear, but I'm paranoid now. I know they are really
outgoing but should that deter me from wearing the clothes I love?

Well, if you like them & you want to wear them, then don't let others stop you. Just because someone said they seem a tad over the top, doesn't mean you should stop wearing them.

Yea, they do look over the top, but to be honest, if i actually looked good in those kind of shoes, i'd wear them no matter what others said. ;)

Don't be scared, to wear what you want. If you get teased, there just jealous you have a individual unqiue style, and no-one can take that away from you.

You just have to be confident, and show who you are.

I wouldn't wear them, because there a bit too big and a bit too much, but don't worry.

They kinda do look like hooker shoes but I've been called much worse things for that to deter me.

I went to the town today to try them out. I liked towering over people and being able to reach for things I'd never been able to reach before. Wow, you tall people live such a different life :p I tripped over the kerb though, my nose bearly missed the parking meter. Owee ;]

Everyone is responding to this basically saying 'we know they're ugly, but don't let that get you down!'.
They're OK, do seem a bit 'corner girl'-ish.. and would probably get some nasty names hurled at you.. but that's the truth. :P
But anyway, whatever you decide, kinda depends on what type of person you are.
I wouldn't wear them.. because I'm a boy. :P
