If you are in year 10 now, what are you going to do for work experience? For those that have done work experience, what is it like? Is it important for later in life when you get a job as proof you done it? Were you nervous?

I'm going to a Hospital for 2 weeks in may..

I couldn't find a work placment so the school sent me to some crap garden center. I stayed for one whole day but all i did was lift bags of soil around all day long, twas alode of crapp.

The next day i didn't go on so they rang the school and the school rang me n made me go in to school and help the care taker for the rest of the week ;l

All my friends who found a work placment of there own enjoyed it though, so you're lucky you have found one of your own :)

I didn't know what I wanted to do so just left it until the last minute so I had a choice of staying in school or going to me dads work, so just went with me dad for 2week. It was better than I expected but it was just the starting at 8, finishing at 5 that annoyed me.

I worked as an IT technician and it was boring.

I counted - and I fixes up 192 computers in 2 weeks.
[each selling for £140]

I've been to work experience and it was great. You get treated like an adult, and you have to handle working situations. It is important because you can get the full flavour of what work is actually like.

I have done days on and off though the year at a school for mentally retarted kids, its okay.

Im going to do a week after exams at the cafe where I work, A week at the special school.
Im trying to get 2 weeks at this photography studio if not i'll go to a design one instead. My art teacher should help me with that.

At our school you can do it anytime you wontcept for exmas which is really awersome. Employers prefer people with expirence aswell
