The Bleep Test

Anyone else done the bleep test before? I've done it about 4 times before and I have it again tomorow :( I hate it because I can only get up to like 7 before my body feels like jelly! If you have done the bleep test before, what level did you get up to?

Done it loads last time I did it I got 14, but most schools are different, it depends on the length of your gym.

In my old gym i got arround 7.4 but the new one is MASSIVE, we do 1/2 the width of it and that is still soooooo long. i get like 5.5 on that one lol

sorry, but i highly doubt it :D the levels only go up to 23 and only 2 or 3 people have ever completed it, to get to level 20 you must be really good...

We did it once each year, we did it like 7 times in year 11 though for our GCSE PEP.

I also used to have to do it when i played for a sunday leuge team.

i didnt say it was impossible... she must be really fit to get that high.. david beckham completed it and he was sick afterwards because he was that worn out, so you gotta be quite fit to do it

I'm ok at it I suppose, I think most of it is a mind obstacle. If you ignore what your doing and just run it takes the pressure of it more, and you tend to keep going for lower.

Well I havent done it in a while. I hurt my ankle a week before last time I did it, was such a shame to miss out, not! I'd rather play a soccer then run because otherwise I focus on it too much. I think I go in the 5-6's last time Lol!

Run to a specified line and back and to keep up with the beeps (on a cassette usually)..

I'm really unfit so I got about 6/7.

there are over 100 different bleep tests with all different timings and levels, the level 15 to get in the police or whatever it is will be a completely different type to what you'd do at school probably equivalent to level 8/9. YEAH so half of the people who are saying i got to level 7/8/9/10 are probably fitter than the ones that got to level 15-20. David Beckham completed it? I'D COMPLETE IT IF I GOT PAID £100,000 A WEEK.
anyway yeah its hard to compare unless you're doing it at the same time.

i dont think the bleeps go off at different times, i think its just people run different lengths... my sports hall was 20 metres..

It's just a a test designed, to test you on your Stamia to see how long you can go for.

There like several stages or levels i think level 17 is the highest you can go (not sure). Like you do it in a hall or something and you start off at a stratline and you have to wait on the beep to start before you head off. Once the beep sounds you have to make it to the other side of the hall before the beep goes off again.

It starts off easy like you can just walk it, then it gets harder and have to run xP.
