I saw the thread on Year 9 Sats and there seems to be alot of us in year 9, so I thought I would ask you all what you have chosen for your options. I chose mine last month I think it was.. What are you all choosing and how does it work in your school?

You are so lucky you get to do Italian for options in your school, we don't really have much choice.

My sister is taking her`s this year. When i did mine at first i thought they were really good but then it soo boring. Just dont choose history. Trust me only if you wont to be bored to the core of your soul but otherwise dont choose it.

Dave,

History also gets loads of essays. So if you don't like writing or aren't good at english then don't bother.

To all of you taking History, be warned, it is a hell of a lot of work. So many essays! Good luck to you all with that :S

I took my GCSE's last May/June so Im not sure if anything has changed since then... I doubt it..

I'm in year 10 already, but I took
GNVQ ICT - Lots of work, unless you are willing to do it, I wouldn't advise you take it, you don't have to be that good at it.
Drama - Confidence. I don't have much. Eep!
German
Business Studies - Never wanted to take it, dad's choice, bores me to death.
Wooo!! :l

My school is so weird compared to all of yours! We have all these different routes.. Theres a few different routes that are just normal, then we have a route where you can go college to do hairdressing etc. and theres a BTEC or something in sport route, and then theres the entrepeneur one which Im on. We have 1 day a week going round to local businesses and stuff, and in Yr 11 we get a chance to set up our own business. But we dont have many other choices, all I got to choose was Media Studies and ICT double award.

I'm in year 10 also.
I chose the following:

P.e. = Reason being I enjoy being phisical thats why I do running and stuff, my interest's are, athletics - in athletics my best at:

Long jump = 5m 60, Triple Jump = 12m 5, 200m = 23.8, 100m = 11.7, and 1500m = 4 mins and 19 - 22 seconds

Graphic Products = Most boringest subject (no lie) if you are into doing about 4-5 a3 sheets per week be my guest and take it - if you are into doing about 30 a3 sheets in like 2months thats your choice lol

Drama = Reason chosen is because I am very forward (I am not afraid to do something/perform infront of others). Expected Grade A - A*

Geography = Reason chosen is because I realy enjoy geograpy as it isn't all that bad to be in, I am currently aiming/told that my expected grade would/will be about a B which is cool :D
