Mfl is Modern foreign language

BTEC is worth more than 1 GCSE plus we will have longer than you to them.

I don't know if I should do DIDA. If I do I have to take double science, when I wanted to take triple :(

I took Spanish, Music, History and Drama and the only things I regret is....Spanish and Music :D

Sounds like good options if thats what you wanna do. We can only say they are good or bad based upon what we like, so there isnt really much point in a poll.

Your in year 8 and your doing options. Are you meant to be doing that in year 9?

I want to be a solictor, and next time I won't do a poll.

No our school is doing it one year early,
because they say we can tackle it.

i was under the impression you couldn't bring SATs forward, as when i was in year 8 they tried to bring mine forward & we were told it's not allowed.

but uhm, yeah. [:

im in yr 11, but whn i took my options.

i must say..
i regret takin geography, i wish i took history or summin else.
best option was probably business studies but just got letters back from college and they have accpeted me on both courses and business was the main subject that got me 4 A-C's. BBBB counts as 4 GCSES. ;]

Yes. Like I picked history for the teacher. Then I didn't get him. =|

Media Studies is good when you have a good teacher.

I took my sats a yr early (last year), and this year is like an enlightenment year although it seems to be more work than last year. we started our tech, half ict, 3 sciences, and maths gcses this year.

Compulsory at my school is:
English
English lit.
Maths
Biology
Chemistry
Physics
IT (half course completed in yr9)
Tech (completed end of yr10)
MFL

So for my tech i chose Graphics, and for my Mfl, i hate both but i'm choosing german instead of french. Then for my three other options, i'm choosing Latin, Art and RE. I wanted to take AS Computing too, but obviously we could only choose three, so yh.

Maybe you should take more care in what you are writing as you implied one teacher forced you into doing the subject because she 'loves' you so yeah shh before you tell someone to read more.

& yah so was I bethie, my schools tried to do it before and they couldn't

and yeah don't do food tech or ict anyone, food tech is bullox full stop and ict is a bore, well the course I'm doing anyway, the first section was fine, the second section is absolutely rubbish.

If your "A" or whatever, then why did you take travel and tourism? Travel and tourism is for dummies. And bw , GCSE's dont really matter that much, they are just needed to get you into college, you pick things your good at, and not what you like

GCSE's dont really matter that much
GCSE's matter alot??

& it's no good doing something you are good at if you don't enjoy it..

& travel and tourism is easy, but it doesn't mean it's for dummies..
