You have ICT for GSCE? We don't.. The only thing i've done is ECDL which isn't exactly performed in exam conditions.
I am taking IT GCSE - What is involved in it?
I am in year 9 so will be doing it in 2 years

Its AQA, its very easy if you get your head around it, you just needs to know a few acronyms such as what does HTML stand for etc, and a few softwares and hardwares and what its used for, then theres spreadsheets and databases which are the only boring parts, I reckon the A is in the bag but could get A* :P

It's not graded like that in ICT, it's either Pass, pass with merit or pass with distinction

I'm in year 11, currently taking my GCSE's and I think I'd know..
Plus, a GCSE is 1 GCSE unless you do double, and it can also count as 4 if you do GNVQ or BTEC.
Did you get the "2 RIFTs (or whatever) will combine to make an evil network" one..?

GCSE isnt a failure course. In GCSE you dont get pass merit or distinction.. You get GCSE levels grade A* to U

That's why my certificate awards me with 4 GCSE's with distinction? And it specificially says GCSE
You must be doing a course for people that struggle in it

Then as I said your probably doing a double award type GCSE or GNVQ/BTEC which is worth 4 GCSE's.. Notice the bit where I underlined lol, its those courses which give you 4 GCSEs, so its still GCSE's as you said but isnt the normal one its a different type, where you do more assignments n stuff e.g. I do BTEC Art which is 2 GCSE's so i will get pass merit or distingsion for that but its still GCSE's. Its mainly a college course.
