We have noticed that users are relying on image hosts more and more often to the extent that if the image host is to go down or if they have a set number of days before the image is deleted, the images in threads are then end up with a red cross.

For this reason we have decided to work on the attachment options to make it easier and more free to upload attachments on to the forum server itself.

To attach an image, scroll to the bottom where it says "additional options". In the second box, you will see "Attach files" with a button saying "manage attachements". Once clicked, it will open in a new window so your post data will not be deleted.

You will notice that you have 10 spaces to fill to upload attachments from your PC and 10 spaces to upload images from web sites. So you can still upload images that are on imageshack for example and then they will be stored on our servers which hopefully should mean they will last longer.

You can upload a maximum of 30 images on each post but you can only do 10 a time in both ways (from URL or from PC). The only attachments we expect are image attachments meaning zip, doc and txt etc will not be accepted.

The image formats we accept are:

BMP (with a limit of 1000 height + width for obvious reasons).
PNG
GIF
JPG
JPEG
JPE
PSDWe hope that you will start using the attachment options on the forum more often so your images are not lost if an image host decides to delete images that are x days old or have used up too much of their bandwidth :).

Thanks
