Twenty20 Cricket World Cup 2009 will be held in England :)

ICC have announced that T20 will not take over the 50 Over format.
Test cricket will also carry on. Their reasons:

50 Over format generates money
They want to preserve test cricket

Also, each test playing nation will only play seven T20 matches per year.

Oo good they're holding it every 2 years :D smart thinking ICC.

And I think it's good also that it's not killing off 50 over cricket yet. But people are saying T20 cricket would ruin 50 over cricket, I'm sure people said the same when ODI's came in after Test's anyway..

Should make the international calender better with more T20's :D

50 over format is also great. It tests other skills of the players.
I would have liked to see atleast 15 matches per test playing nation.

I think in the next T20 world cup all 16 nations should participate, extend the length of it to a month, the crowds will definitely come in England.

And it should be held in 2010, next 50 over world up is in 2011, which i'm guessing will be same year the next T20 WC too.

15 matches per test playing nation, you mean each nation playing 15 T20 matches a year?

Yes
So England plays 15
India plays 15 etc

I will defenitely go to the T20 2009 world cup.

If there's any near where I am at the time then Yeah I will too :P

And fair enough (with the T20 matches per year), I think 7 is enough though, if all of the top 8 have it.. then I think that's 49 games? 1 for each team against the other 7?

Yup, around there.
You might want to book the tickets like 10 months before hand ;)
India vs England tickets were sold out 7 months before the matches.

Haha I know I'd need too, it'll be a bit hectic to say the very least!

Any bets it'll be Lords, Brit Oval and Egbaston? (The 3 locations, though should be 4 locations, 1 for each group and 4 teams in each group!!!!) :)

I did wonder Old Trafford too, cos that would spread it more over the country. 1 Will definitely be around the London area, 1 in the middle of England (Edgbaston for sure) and another further up country (Old Trafford).

I would love it if Indias matches are in Old Trafford.
Is there a stadium in Birmingham? If yes, then thats probably where they will have India's matches [more Indians in Birmingham].
